We are in search of Utility Crew Forepersons with extensive knowledge and experience in the city, urban pipe laying and road building. Duties & Responsibilities: Supervise and be responsible for safety, quality, and protection of the environment for the assigned work Lead crews to install deep utilities in difficult ground conditions - open cut and shored Read and interpret drawings and specifications to provide clear instructions to the crew Maintain daily records including crew and equipment time, material receiving, productions and summary of activity on site Ability to train each position on the pipe crew and take responsibility for the crew's development Work with the project superintendent to plan ahead and ensure materials and resources are in place ahead of the work Act as a working foreperson - lead from the front lines, direct the work and be with your crew at all times PLEASE NO PHONE CALLS.
